To steal or obtain something from one through deceit, trickery, or fraud. That dishonest real estate broker tricked us out of thousands of dollars. I'll never forgive my brother for tricking me out of my inheritance. I feel like the insurance company tricked me out of my previous policy by convincing me that their newer one was a better value.
