the C-word

euphemism The word "cunt." Typically used in discussion of the word itself or when reporting its use so that one does not actually have to say or write it. I can swear like a sailor, but one word I refuse to use is the C-word. I can't believe that person called me the C-word just because I didn't hold the elevator for them!
