take life as it comes

To deal with or manage events or aspects of life as they occur, as opposed to planning for or worrying about them beforehand. I learned not to stress about things I had no control over. You've just got to take life as it comes, you know? Some people have their entire futures mapped out in their minds, but I prefer to take life as it comes.
