To be ideal or perfectly appropriate for one; to be completely in line with one's tastes, preferences, interests, style, etc. A: "Gosh, it's been sweltering lately!" B: "I'm cold all the time, so this hot weather suits me to a T." I was nervous when he said he was buying a purple tuxedo, but it somehow suits him to a T.
