1. A masculine working class man who has sex with other men. The term sometimes but not always refers to a prostitute. If you're looking for rough trade, you're not going to find it here. This is a dance club and nothing else.

2. Violent sexual acts or encounters. I don't know why they can't crack down on the advertisements for rough trade in the backs of those seedy newspapers.
