put (something) in print

To publish something in print media, especially a newspaper. They said they wouldn't put my article in print, but that they could feature it in a section on the newspaper's website.

to publish something; to record something spoken in printed letters. The article looks good. We will put it into print as soon as possible. We'll put it in print as soon as we can.
