push up on (someone or something)
1. To shove, thrust, or press someone or something from below in order to force them or it upward. Push up on this hatch so I can access the control panel. She pushed up on me by my feet so I could get over the top of the wall.
2. slang To flirt with or attempt to seduce someone, especially when it is unwelcome or unsolicited; to hit on someone. Primarily heard in US. I told you, your girl got liquored up and started pushing up on me. I didn't so much as look at her!
