A response to someone indicating that their idea, suggestion, or course of reasoning is understandable, and one is willing to accept, consider, or acknowledge it. Point taken, Carl, but the company simply cannot afford to hire new staff at this point. A: "All I'm saying is that you had major regrets the last time you made a big purchase like this without thinking it through." B: "Hmm, point taken. Maybe I should take a day or two to think about it."
