pay (for something) through (something)

To make a payment (for something) using a particular service or account. With all the bills that have cropped up this month, I'll have to pay through my savings account to cover rent. They've been paying for new offices through a number of offshore banks.

to make payment through an intermediary, such as a bank. I will pay the bill through my bank in New York. Sam had to pay through his brokerage account.
