off (one's) kadoova

obsolete Crazy, insane, or eccentric. The origins of "kadoova" are not definitively known, but it may come from kadi, meaning "hat." Primarily heard in Australia. The man tried to assault a politician in the middle of the street. He must be off his kadoova! You're off your kadoova if you think you can get that engine fixed by this weekend.
