none the worse (for something)
Not damaged, harmed, or made worse by something. Sometimes used ironically to indicate that someone or something would be improved by doing something. I was worried that the team would be in a sorry state the morning after the company holiday party, but we were none the worse for a night of drinking and dancing. You know, your smelly old jacket would be none the worse for a trip through the washing machine.
