no matter what/when/where/why/who/how

Used to emphasize that something is always the case or that something must be done (by someone). No matter how I approach it, I just can't seem to understand this math problem. No matter who does it, this report has got to be finished and on my desk by the end of the week.

used to say that something is always true, whatever the situation is, or that somebody should certainly do something: Don’t open the door, no matter who comes.No matter what he says, don’t trust him.I’ll find her, no matter where she’s hiding.
