1. To cause a disturbance or racket. Who on earth is out there knocking trash cans over and making such a row at this hour? Go to bed!
2. To oppose something angrily or vehemently. Don't make a row—I highly doubt she's been ignoring you on purpose. My mother made a row when the store refused to accept her return without a receipt.
