it's the little things (in life)

cliché Used to express pleasure or satisfaction in some seemingly mundane or unimportant aspect, detail, event, or outcome. A: "I got a message from a guy who used to bully me in high school saying how impressed he was with my article in The New York Times." B: "Wow, I bet that felt good!" A: "Yeah, it's the little things in life." I always love running a spell check on a final draft of a report and having it come back with no mistakes. It's the little things, you know?
