have time off
have time off
To have a period of time away from work, school, or other responsibilities. I'm looking forward to having some time off from my studies over the break to catch up with family and friends. We all had time off from school because of the horrible weather. You're always on the job when you're a parent. It's not like your kids are going to let you have time off!
