have (something) down to a T
To be able to do something very easily, adroitly, or efficiently, typically due to one's extensive experience at it. I'm a working mom of three, so I've got lunch-making down to a T on schooldays. Just keep practicing, and before long you'll have it down to a T. I had my routine down to a T so there wouldn't be any room for error during the performance.
