offensive slang To become very or unreasonably angry or upset; to have an outburst of rage, frustration, or ill temper. "Spaz" is a shortening of "spastic," a reference to spastic paralysis. My mom's going to have a spaz when she sees what happened to the car! Hey, don't have a spaz—we can fix this mistake.
