To have a rational manner, often because one is not under the influence of alcohol or drugs. You need to have a clear head when you make a big decision like that. In my experience, nobody going through a divorce has a clear head. There's just too much emotion inherently wrapped up in everything. Have you been drinking? Man, I called you for advice because I thought you'd have a clear head!
