hardliner

hardliner

Someone who has an unyielding, inflexible belief in some person or thing. Susan's not a hardliner, so I really think she'll listen to your views on the matter. Unfortunately, our new boss is a hardliner who thinks her way of doing things is the only correct one I know you want to continue the project, but you can't be a hardliner about this. We simply cannot go on without funding.
