To cause something to become stronger or more intense. A noun or pronoun can be used between "goose" and "up." Based on how loud it is, it sounds like he really goosed up his car engine. This sauce is just so bland—what spice can we add to goose it up? How about some gold glittery eyeshadow? That'll goose up your date night look!
