1. A large amount of money. Why would I leave my job? The hours are flexible and I make good money. I paid good money to be here—you can't throw me out! A: "Phil's struggling? But I thought he made good money." B: "He does, but he also has a ton of student loan debt."
2. One's hard-earned money. Why do you insist on spending good money on these dumb trinkets? I just don't trust Tim, and I refuse to get conned out of good money! If you're going to spend good money on a car, make sure you get something that's built to last.
