3. noun Something, often writing, that is overly sentimental. I gave you an F because your story was pure glop, and I know you can do better. I know this might sound like glop, but it's 100% the truth—my wife is the most beautiful woman I've ever seen in my life. Bleh, the lyrics of love songs always sound like glop to me.
