1. To yield information to someone. If you know what's really going on here, then you better give out with the details. I can't give out with anything because I honestly don't know why those two broke up. And why exactly would I just give out with my scientific findings?
2. To utter or say something. I gave out with a cry when I stubbed my toe. The man on the corner likes to give out with proclamations and prophecies of humanity's impending doom. Aunt Mildred is still miserably ill. She just gives out with complaints all day long.
