To cause one to see a surprising or unexpected sight. A: "I heard Al just gave you an eyeful backstage." B: "Yeah, I didn't know he was planning on wearing an artichoke costume in the talent show!" Stu was actually changing in his office, so he gave me quite an eyeful when I walked in! A: "I wouldn't mind if that handsome athlete gave me an eyeful. You know he's probably got a great body under all those pads." B: "Mom! Ew!"
