To cause something to start, proceed, or advance, especially a project. Peggy's very determined to get this initiative moving, so I think we'll be hearing more about it in the coming weeks. I know you want to get your research moving, but you can't until funding comes in. Can't we get the hiring process moving? I'd like to have a full team again sometime soon!
