To start bothering someone about something. Oh, don't worry—I'll get on Pat's case until he agrees to go to the interview. It's too good an opportunity to pass up. Of course Mom and Dad have gotten on your case—you're thinking of dropping out school! Do you have to get on my case about every little thing? Let me work at my own pace, geez!
