get face time (with someone)

get face time (with someone)

To be able to have time to interact with someone in-person. If only I could get some face time with one of those directors, I just know I could convince them to make my script into a movie. The boss is constantly in and out of the office, so getting face time can be a bit tricky. If I could get just face time with a prominent casting director, I know my acting career would take off!
