get around to (something)

To eventually do something when one is able to. Oh man, I haven't gotten around to printing that document yet—just give me a sec, I'll do it right now. I've got so much to do today that I don't know when I'll get around to these expense reports. You haven't gotten around to that filing yet? Good, because I need to pull some paperwork from the pile.

to find time to do something; to do something after a long delay. (See also get (around) to someone or something.) I finally got around to buying a new coat. It took Sally years to get around to visiting her aunt.
