To come to have a general or approximate estimate or understanding about something. There will of course be a lot more details when we get started in earnest, but you can get a rough idea of what it will look like from these sketches. I got a rough idea of what to expect from the program during the introductory training course they offered. Call those clients back and see if you can get a rough idea of what they're looking for.
