get a buzz on
get a buzz on
slang To become mildly intoxicated by drugs or alcohol. I wanted to get a buzz on before the concert, so I smoked a little weed—it's really not a big deal. I honestly haven't gotten a buzz on since before I went to rehab. I'm not someone who drinks to get drunk—I just like to get a buzz on after a hard day's work.
