To catch a cold, usually a minor one. My daughter seems to have gotten the snuffles from someone at daycare. Any time I'm around the grandkids, I seem to get the snuffles too. Ugh, I don't know how I got the snuffles, but I'm not feeling great this morning.

have the snuffles

To have a cold, usually a minor one. I have the snuffles, so I'm going to stay home and nap instead. Once your kids are in daycare, they'll have the snuffles constantly. A: "Do you have the snuffles?" B: "Nah, it's my allergies. All this pollen is killing me."
