garner up

To harvest or gather something and store it in some place or thing. A noun or pronoun can be used between "garner" and "up." I spent my youth garnering up crops on my grandparents' farm. We have to garner up the last of these vegetables before it starts getting cold around here. Mabel broke her foot, so she can't garner up the crops like she usually does. I think we should all go over this weekend and help her.
