full of years

Old; aged. Because he is full of years, he's having a hard time getting around now. Once my grandfather became full of years, he moved in with us. Now that I'm full of years, I have the hardest time remembering things—it's so frustrating.

Full of years is an expression originating in the Authorized Version of the Bible: ‘an old man, and full of years’ (Genesis 25:8).
