full boat

full boat

slang In poker, a full house (a hand consisting of three cards of one rank and two cards of another). I thought for sure I would win with a full boat in my hand, but Tom had four of a kind and won the whole pot. Geez, I just got terrible hand after terrible hand tonight at the poker game. No full boat, no flush—the best I could do was two pair! You might want to stop gloating over your full boat because I have a royal flush, baby!
