from nature

from nature

1. art Using natural scenery, such as a landscape, as a reference. I started out with the traditional fruit still life, but painting from nature has been a lot more fun. How can you not be inspired by a sunset like that, huh? I do mostly paint landscapes, and when it's too cold to paint outside, I use this big window in my studio to paint from nature. I've never painted from nature, actually. I really enjoy painting portraits.
2. Using ingredients that are found or occur in nature. We only use ingredients from nature when we make our plant-based protein bars. That snack cake doesn't expire for two years? OK, you can bet there's nothing from nature in it then! Where do you find so many snacks made with ingredients from nature? Especially considering that things like high-fructose corn syrup are literally everywhere!
