To receive one's approval and appreciation. If you can find favor with the new CEO, I doubt you'll be subject to those rumored layoffs. No matter what I do, I can't seem to find favor with my mother-in-law! If you found favor with someone down at City Hall, maybe they'd waive these fines for you.
