1. verb Of a computer, to make a beeping sound. I think the scan is done—the computer just feeped. Yeah, the computer just feeped, but I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. The computer will feep and let you know it's time to proceed with the next step.
2. noun Such a sound. I think the scan is done—the computer just made a feep. What was that feep I just heard? Is something wrong with your computer? A: "How am I supposed to know what that feep meant?" B: "Beats me. Call someone in IT?"
