To touch something with one's hands or fingers. I feel something scratchy with my fingers—I must have gotten some hay stuck in my shoe. Luckily, I found the light switch with my hands after only fumbling in the dark for a short while. A: "There's definitely something hard in my hair—I could feel it with my fingers!" B: "You're right, it's a ladybug."
