fashion victim

fashion victim

A person who places too much value on popular trends and styles. It's one thing to have good taste in clothing, but it's another to be a fashion victim who always needs to be seen wearing popular brand names. Of course she's broke—she's been a fashion victim for years. More of her hard-earned money is in stores on Rodeo Drive than in a savings account. I don't think I'm a fashion victim—I wear what I like, whether it's high-end or not.
