Someone who is no longer respected or admired. He was so popular and loved when he was a young actor, but now that he is approaching middle age, he's a fallen idol. Nobody even talks about him anymore. Once that player's steroid use was revealed, he became a fallen idol, and all of his record-breaking feats were viewed with suspicion. I think she's afraid she'll be a fallen idol in the industry if another one of her companies fails.
