exsqueeze me

exsqueeze me

A humorous and exaggerated variant of "excuse me," used to express incredulity or indignation. Um, exsqueeze me? You want me to move all these boxes by myself? A: "Just leave me alone, would you?" B: "Well exsqueeze me! I just wanted to make sure you were all right, but I guess I won't bother next time." Did you just tell me to leave? Exsqueeze me, but do you know who my father is?
