To use someone or something to coerce or trick someone into doing something. I'm worried that she's saying she's pregnant just to entrap you in this marriage. No, I refuse! You can't entrap me into silence with a non-disclosure agreement. Did the detectives entrap the subject into confessing with threats of violence?
