A phrase that encourages one to have safe travels. It is typically said when one is leaving. It was so good to see you! Drive safely! You know how to get home from here, right? OK, drive safely! A: "Drive safely and call me when you get there!" B: "Ok, Mom, geez."

Drive Safely

an expression used to advise a departing person to be careful while driving. Mary: Good-bye, Sally. Drive safely. Sally: Good-bye. I will. "Drive safely!" everyone shouted as we left on our trip.
