double-decker
1. A bus that has two levels, one positioned above the other. Can be used as a noun or an adjective. We took a double-decker bus tour of the city while we were there on vacation. I'm not sitting on the top level of a double-decker bus today, it's too cold and windy! A: "Wanna do a double-decker bus tour?" B: "Yeah, let's play tourist in our own city for once."
2. A sandwich that has two layers, one on top of the other. Can be used as a noun or an adjective. Wow Mom, you made me quite a double-decker for lunch! I don't think I can eat it all. It's a humongous double-decker, that's why it's so expensive. A: "Come on, this place specializes in double-deckers! We have to get one." B: "You can, I'm just not that hungry."
