1. I'm already annoyed, so don't aggravate me further. I had a bad day at work, so don't push me—just do your chores like I asked. A: "I'm right in the middle of something, but I'll think about it, OK?" B: "But Mom—" A: "Caroline, don't push me." A: "I know you're letting me re-do the assignment, and I really appreciate that, but could I possibly get an extension?" B: "Don't push me. It's still due Monday."
2. Don't try to pressure or badger me into doing something. I'm just not ready to go to college yet, so don't push me! Don't push me, OK? I'll give you an answer when I'm good and ready! I live my life on my own terms, so don't push me!
