The actor started corpsing when someone in the audience let out a tremendous fart in the middle of a very serious monologue. It's really hard not to corpse when one of your fellow actors has to say the most ridiculous lines with absolute seriousness and conviction. I didn't mean to corpse when the lead tripped up the steps—the unexpected sight just tickled me, I guess.
