To subject one to many different insulting, degrading, derisive, or slanderous terms. People have called me every name in the book due to my beliefs, but I will always proudly stand by them! You can call me every name in the book, Tom, but it won't make me change my decision. People called the singer every name in the book early in her career, but now that she's famous, she doesn't care at all what the haters have to say.
