botch up

rude slang To jumble up or ruin something. A noun or pronoun can be used between "botch" and "up." Boy, you really botched up this report—I'm not sure I can even fix it. Take your time so you don't botch it up! Somebody botched up these calculations—I have no idea how they got this total.
