blink-and-you-miss-it

blink-and-you-miss-it

Of such a brief duration or small size as to be easily missed. Used as a modifier before a noun. I was excited to be in the movie, but it was really just a blink-and-you-miss-it part. A: "Wait, one of your songs was in that episode? I didn't even notice!" B: "Oh, it was a real blink-and-you-miss-it kind of thing." You don't remember that guy because he only worked here for one week. Definitely blink-and-you-miss-it territory.
