1. Literally, a light gray-brown color. I'm sick of these beige walls—I think I want to repaint them a nice shade of blue. There's no way I'm hanging that absurdly bright painting in my predominantly beige house. A: "Beige is so boring. Can't we use a bolder color?" B: "No, prospective buyers like neutral colors."
2. Bland, dull, or boring. That outfit is just so beige. Can't we jazz it up a little, maybe add some sparkle? Oh, her house is anything but beige, thanks to bright paint colors and lots of funky artwork. I don't know how that guy managed to give such a beige talk on the architecture of Paris. I almost dozed off in the middle of it.
